The eye is a camera. This simple truth, learnt during my formative years as a medical research scientist, profoundly shaped my understanding of photography.
When I pick up my camera, my intention is clear: to reveal the stories hidden within ordinary objects during commonplace moments. When I am capturing images, I strive to create narratives through geometric shapes, movements, and vivid colors. The goal is to convey emotions and experiences, allowing the camera to be an extension of my vision.
Throughout my journey, I have drawn inspiration from a diverse array of photographers: the powerful photojournalism of Gordon Parks, the architectural insights of Jim DelGuidice, and the dynamic moments captured by Bill Neal. Landscape artist William Neill and former U.N. photographer John Isaac have expanded my perspective, while wildlife photographers Joe and Mary Ann McDonald taught me to appreciate the natural world.
Join me as I explore the intersection of life and art through my lens. Each moment holds a story waiting to be told.
